Read 120 days of Sodom about a year ago...couldn't quite finish it. I don't if that says more about me or more about the authors and the people who can read this stuff. At the same time, the number one book on the list really happened, not say that various scenarios out of the other books haven't happened. So what does that say about humanity?

I didnt find the road all that devastating, it was bleak it was desolate and it was also good, but i wasnt devastated. You can bet the film will go out of its way to sell that aspect though so ill get there. However American Psycho is excellent.

I read "Johnny Got His Gun" in a Marine Corps barracks. I was disturbed already. While reading "Naked Lunch" on the city bus, some girl tried to flirt with me because I was reading Burroughs. I'm thinking she was disturbed too... "House of Leaves" was worse.
