There is a lot to see and do in these fun pages. You get to play a wide variety of time-lapse images (in quicktime) of buildings going up, firecrackers exploding, seasons changing and much more. You also get to play with the rate of images moving. An excellent online museum. From the folks at the Science Museum of Minnesota and Red Hill studios. With thanks to the stumbler emi.

In my past life I worked in an industry where the standard unit of time measurement was the millisecond, so this website is particularly interesting. But of greater interest than slowing down the truly fast are the videos of speeding up the truly slow. Nothing is more fun than watching bumpers rust!

Never ever play with time. No good comes of it. My spirit guide, "Fat Alf" told me about a bloke called Martin Jellon who....... Oh never mind.

Playing With Time is an exciting, new project that looks at how the world around you is changing over many different time periods. The project consists of two major parts: this web site and a traveling museum exhibit.

Playing With Time is an exciting, new project that looks at how the world around you is changing over many different time periods. The project consists of two major parts: this web site and a traveling museum exhibit. The site is being developed by Red Hill Studios. The exhibit is a collaboration between Red Hill and the Science Museum of Minnesota. Here at the Playing With Time web site, unseen worlds of change will be revealed. You will see time sped up and slowed down, and behold the beauty of change. Time will be in your hands to witness, replay, and even create. You never know... you might not look at things quite the same way again.
