    I wonder if this makes sense to anyone but the designers. Take out the dimensions, because aliens wouldn't have them. So you've got a string of binary numbers, but you have to assume they're forming a picture. And then you have to figure out the dimensions, I guess by trial and error. Then you have to try and guess what everything means. Maybe I'm stupid, but without a guide, the only thing I was able to understand was stick-figure man, and aliens wouldn't be able to understand that either. Assuming they're even looking for radio waves to begin with. This is like blindfolding a man, spinning him around in a circle, and asking him to play darts. And the dartboard is a mile away.

    Were they trying to confuse whoever got this message? It's part coded math and part pictorial message. One confuses the other; it should have been one or the other. No wonder no one wrote back. They figured we were stupid.
