stuckincustoms discovered 16 months ago- Powerful images from time

wmantel rated 4 months ago- From the site: 1963. Thich Quang Duc, the Buddhist priest in Southern Vietnam , burns himself to death protesting the government's torture policy against priests. Thich Quang Dug never made a sound or moved while he was burning.

liquidiridium rated 4 months ago- POWERFUL IMAGES FROM TIME... 1965. A mom and her children try to cross the river in South Vietnam in an attempt to run away from the American bombs. *Some of the photos are quite "graphic". If you don't like to see death, then don't click on this link.

Propagandhist rated 6 months ago- Let us not forget (or repeat)...

dumbbum rated 6 months ago- This is another picture that I believe should be seen, and I place it on my blog. For those of you who can remember, it happened in 1994 in Rwanda. I don't want to point figures on the issue. I just want to remember, and feel compassion for our fellow humans, hoping we will one day be able to live in harmony.
