angel4real rated 12 months ago- With great thanks to mcbill for this poem. He is a really good writer. Looking like a beggarman she spoke with him... he said he was an "angel" or as close as she could come to understanding what he was... that he rarely found himself in an earthly being's dream angels... didn't have them he said there was no pain no sadness just encompassing awareness unbound veneration like the wonder in... wonderful no concerns of validation the liabilities humans covet or the leaving of a legacy she asked about the wings he didn't have those either... why would I need wings he said I am in the rustling leaves the pounding waves every rock and pebble wings are only things the mortal mind needs angels to possess so... what's it all about... she asked and he admitted you... know more than I she smiled still... it sounds so peaceful... yes... he said yes... it is and then a quieter... but... it's beautiful he said but... there is no sensuality no joy... neither quiet... nor... screechingly rabid ... passion 08-29-07
