- things you should never feed your dog: "Anti-freeze can shut down your dog's kidney and they tend to love the taste." if you're feeding your dog antifreeze, something tells me you really aren't too attached to your dog's kidneys or, well, the dog. i think this should be called something more along the lines of "things to make sure your dog doesn't eat" or "101 ways to kill your dog!" plus, this isn't even a list. it's just a bunch of paragraphs with shit that'll make your dog barf, shit or die.

- I agree with nez. My Dogs have never had a problem with chocolate or chicken bones, and my vet says these things are fine.

- I'm about sick and tired of self-professed "experts" telling me what I can and cannot feed my critters. I've been feeding my healthy, long-lived dogs chocolate and "people food" for decades now and not one of them has ever had any problem whatsoever from it, other than an occasional case of the runs. It always cracks me up to hear these people lecturing on what a dog should eat when over the course of my lifetime I've actually seen dogs eat cat shit, dog shit, horse shit, cow shit, garbage, moldy meat, chicken & turkey bones (if there's anything I restrict from my dog's diets, it is chicken and turkey bones, since they are spearlike and can perforate intenstines), liquor, beer, reefer, blotter acid, and tinsel. (OnceI even saw a cat who had defecated and a string of tinsel hung from his rear. He then jumped up on the kitchen table at a Xmas dinner and showed us just how "festive" he was as he drug his tinsel string across the goodies) I've seen dogs eat entire ice cream cartons, cigarette butts, baggies, tin foil, charcoal briquets and so many other oddities I cannot even list them all here. So to those who try to tell me what dogs can and cannot eat, I say.... "Own a dog for a few decades and then we can talk....."
