    I've got a buddy with a Bengal cat. He paid about 1K for it. It is bad-ass...behaves more like a dog than a cat. He has it trained to stay in his yard when he takes it outside and it likes water and will get in the shower with him.

    Wow, those are some exotic pets. My dogs came from the Humane Society for $65 each.

    the majority of these animals should never, ever be kept as a domestic pet, nor should eople be encouraged to take on an animal they're unlikely to be able to care for.

    Thumbs up because of the amount of failure involved, especially the fact that English Bulldogs can't breed on their own. If one wants companionship, the newspaper, rescue societies, or humane societies are full of pets who can offer anything a pet with a $5k price tag can. Then there are those who don't want a pet as much as they want an accessory to brag about...

    Great articles and pictures of the most expensive pets you can legally buy. Who would have thought that a cat could go that high in terms of price? The Savannah cat is such a beauty. But I would pay that much to have one as a pet.

    A list of some of the most expensive animals you could own, although some of these seem pretty iffy to actually have as a pet. I definitely want a Savannah cat!
