    You'd have to be dumb as fuck to try securing anything with this. And don't even think about right clicking it and changing it to "hidden". It's just as bad, if not worse.

    this will neither hold your kids/family members/co-workers nor any governmental institution off your files. First of all because its still visible: it can be seen directly in 2 of 5 viewing modes, in the other modes it can be indirectly observed (gap between listed files or small shade when you use "select all" or otherwise select the item);and second because it doesnt stop the "search function", it will still list matching files [not to mention the more advanced tools to find "hidden" files].Conclusion: if you wanna hide your "secret datasheets from work", your porn or your plan to conquer the world, use something different (well, if you really dont want it to be discovered by accident or even active search)

    It's not 'completely invisible' because that folder will be first by alphabetical order, and the space where the folder should be is a dead giveaway.
