Windows ME, how I hate thee still. As to Zip discs...yea, they're not around anymore but they did have a successful run. Even when CDs and CD burners first came out zip discs were the way to go. Much cheaper than the new tech and less prone to errors. I'd argue that Zip lasted a good 10 yrs. Not a bad run that morphed into other things.

Not that interesting. And the failure or HD-DVD was sort of obvious. Does anyone buy Blue-ray disks even now?

Burned is the correct past tense of "burn"; as in "I burned my finger on the stove." Burnt is an adjective; as in "The fireplace was full of burnt wood".

Let's see - I had a Mini disc player, Windows ME and UMDs(PSP). Thank god I bought a PS3 (blu-ray rules) because I would have been livid if I'd started building up a HD-DVD collection to have them discontinue it.

I never got burned as an early adopter, I don't expect that to change.
