PBS Video PBS introduces a new streaming video interface I rarely watch broadcast/live TV anymore. Six years ago, I got sick of cable companies reaming their customers -- particularly me -- so I got rid of cable (and the associated bill) and never looked back. Today, I get my fill of media via DVD rentals, streaming video and torrent downloads -- and I'm much more pleased! I'm not tied to a TV schedule; I watch only what interests me without having to deal with all the filler programs and (for the most part) commercials. For me, this is the ideal way to watch the programs I want. There is really only one exception to the rule and that is PBS. I LOVE PBS! "American Experience", "Frontline", "POV", "NOVA", "Nature", "American Masters", "Bill Moyer's Journal", "NOW", "Independent Lens".... everything by Ken Burns... the list goes on and on. Even though I can watch most PBS' series via streaming video -- I find that I get caught up watching it in 'real time' just because it is so fascinating that I can't pull myself away. BRAVO PBS!!
