Little-Wing rated 3 months ago- http://www.pbs.org/frontlineworld/stories/pakistan703/history/map.html A new generation of Taliban leadership gains influence in Pakistan. By Matthew Vree Taliban cleric Maulana Fazlullah, 33 yr. old Swat-based radical group Tehreek-e-Nafaz-e-Shariat-e-Mohaammadi (Movement for the Enforcement of Islamic Laws or TNSM). * Why has the bush administration supported a man, Musharaff, who openly harbors Taliban groups and plays both sides? His policy of paying off the Taliban is no longer working. *

miamax rated 3 months ago- Great programming

connectedgeeknet rated 4 months ago- GOOD TV!!! ;)

Just-Linda rated 4 months ago- Still watching the Simpsons? Well, get on back into PBS - one of the few great TV stations on the tube. From art to interview, PBS has produced one of the best documentary series ever - Nova. If only the rest of the TV world would compete to meet or beat the quality of that and many other PBS programs, TV might be worth watching.

Dusty-Rose rated 5 months ago- PBS has a history of showing fine documentary films and educational materials. PBS is another target of George Bush's budget cuts - just another way to silence dissent and prevent us form seeing and hearing the truth. The 9/11 government version was probably a result of coercion by the government. Support PBS and freedom of Speech and the Press!

Goatboy77 rated 6 months ago- PBS sold out when they tried to sell (unconvincingly) the governments story of 9/11. Nothing says "public service" like bending over for the Man.

Chemtox rated 8 months ago- PBS provides a great selection of educational and entertainment T.V. shows, with all the benefits of the internet: quality streams in good servers, wherever, whenever you want them, with added bonuses like RRS feeds, forums, quizzes, transcripts... all at the tip of your cursor.

celticlass67 rated 8 months ago- PBS is quality programming with amazing historical documentaries and in-depth analysis of different cultures, music and more. Ken Burns is probably my favorite, especially the jazz series.

shandakr rated 10 months ago- I love PBS! Nature, Nova, Independent Lens, and Antiques Roadshow rule!
