 ArmyChief rated 35 months ago- Have you ever tried to call your bank, computer tech support line, cable service provider, etc., only to find out that you still have about 10 minutes-worth of dialing left to do to drill down through those automated menus?
Forget about how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie ...

- Talk to a real human being, not some damn robot. Phone numbers that will get you many companies when you have a problem/complaint/comment.

- OK, so Paul's name may be English, but this particular site is mostly about finding a 'real' person on the end of various automated phone (IVR = Interactive Voice Response) systems in the USA. (There actually is a link to a very short list for the UK and plans afoot for other countries too.) Of course there's no guarantee said 'real' person is also in the US, nor that they speak/understand American (or English), nor can even help you if they do! (You can 'rate' the 'cheat' and also the service you received by clicking on that organization's name on the list) This site seems like a good idea that I might find helpful in the future. Apparently Paul's looking for help with editing his lists, but you can simply supply him with new 'cheats' by clicking on his 'update' tab. Let's hope the list keeps growing.
