PLOT: the story of a young girl that travels with her mother and adoptive father to a rural area up North in Spain, 1944. After Franco´s victory. The girl lives in an imaginary world of her own creation and faces the real world with much chagrin. Post-war Fascist repression is at its height in rural Spain and the girl must come to terms with that through a fable of her own. DIRECTED BY: Guillermo Del Toro ooooh!!! i want to see this film!!!

I am in the middle of watching this film, parts are really vicious and frightening... very good though.

For me, Pan's Labyrinth failed to live up to its hype. Even though I was unable to love it as much as I wanted to - I still think it worth the viewing.

An amazing movie set in a historic Spain. Effortlessly combines history and fairy tale in to a visually beautiful tale.
