orchid-empress discovered 29 months ago- PLOT: the story of a young girl that travels with her mother and adoptive father to a rural area up North in Spain, 1944. After Franco´s victory. The girl lives in an imaginary world of her own creation and faces the real world with much chagrin. Post-war Fascist repression is at its height in rural Spain and the girl must come to terms with that through a fable of her own. DIRECTED BY: Guillermo Del Toro ooooh!!! i want to see this film!!!

NoodleCouncil rated 3 weeks ago- Awesome, awesome movie. It's tied with Lord of the Rings as my favorite ;o.

3melange rated 9 months ago- I just watched this movie for the first time last night -EXCELLENT! A fairy-tale for adults...a must-see (again) Listen to some of the soundtrack here

Plurabella rated 10 months ago- I am in the middle of watching this film, parts are really vicious and frightening... very good though.

Babblepuss rated 10 months ago- For me, Pan's Labyrinth failed to live up to its hype. Even though I was unable to love it as much as I wanted to - I still think it worth the viewing.

Silverfox616 rated 12 months ago- Great one to see.

tpalmer80 rated 13 months ago- An amazing movie set in a historic Spain. Effortlessly combines history and fairy tale in to a visually beautiful tale.
