Originally launched in 1997, Ovation TV was relaunched in June 2007 with a focus on theater, dance, opera, literature, film, visual and fine art, music, design, photography, and architecture--in short, the things that are less and less available elsewhere on television.

My new favorite channel! Saturday night "art house" movies are the best! I only wish they would not edit the films and air them uncut and uncensored like IFC.

Ovation TV is great television. It is important television. The programing is of such high quality. Every show I have watched has held my interest and I've learned from it.
