Originally published in 1983, cinegeeks will delight in Kolker's discourse on the foreign arthouse movement post-WWII, particularly Italian neorealism, the French new wave, cinema novo, and the German new cinema. Kolker has updated his online edition with animated gifs, JPEG stills, and Quicktime clips. A wicked find.
