Excellent! Online economics books! You too can study hard and still not what the hell is wrong with the economy or how to fix it. You can definitely sound like you know what you're talking about though. Great resource!

good economics resources, sure eocnomics has some issues, but it really needs a 'course correction' Levitt and Sachs are good... Stiglitz, Hernando De Soto, also... And the long-misunderstood Keynes and Smith. Perhaps mediocre economists and politicians mess it up for the rest of us... a thought. Read Galbraiths the Economics of Innocent Fraud! for a broader mind!

Until I see more words in economics books such as environment, sustainability, ecological, green, alternative energy and the discussion about economics that work toward mankind coexisting with the planet, I give a big thumbs down to economics and economist in general. This is not my forte, and I don't know the solution here, but I will be like a good journalist and view everything skeptically with the purpose of driving those how can, to do. Here's a couple with at least a conversation about these issues. Students, ask questions when your Econ teacher doesn't take into consideration these vital issues while drawing the defunct supply v. demand curve. Raise issues. Start conversations. Demand better.
