Disabling services that are idle won't magically free up "resources." The best tweak guide for XP: 1. Install Windows XP. 2. Leave it the fuck alone.

I was looking for such a list just yesterday... the fact that the guy has a list of services you can "disable safely" and then in that list he says you shouldn't disable this is kinda stupid, tho. Then again it's probably not the services slowing my PC down but some other useless crap.

why do i stumble a 2 years old website that generated so little attention? Not to mention that these "tips n tricks" are all the same, most of the time packed with inaccuracies that can cause more harm than good.
