- I already have a BSc (Hons) from Durham Uni and am now working towards a BA (Hons) with the Open Uni. The course materials and tutors for classical history have all been excellent. I also enjoy attending the skills workshops and subject events. My full-time job does make it hard to find the 14 hours study time each week. You need specific combinations of 360 points to get a BSc\BA (Hons) degree with most of the annual 60 point modules costing £525. Other qualifications at different levels are now availaible. Highly recomended.

- The OU is a great Uni and has been around since the late 60s early 70s. open to anyone of any ability and has spawned sister OU's all around the world giving access to education to those who would otherwise be denied it. despite this it was ranked above oxford (and 5th in the uk) by the sunday times for teaching quality and came out top nationally in a student satisfaction survey.
