MarkLeonGoldberg discovered 3 months ago- Ever since the Canadian Bob Dylan sang "you can't jump a jet plain/like you can a freight train," the advantages of commercial rail shipping have been growing more and more apparent. Now, via the the excellent ecopolitology blog, (which I just discovered thanks to stumbleupon), it seems that the current high fuel prices are making rail a much more attractive way of hauling goods and materials long distances.
