****...This site really does people like me a GREAT service. I find that I rarely want or need the bells, whistles, and memory consumption of new software. This website stores the old versions of software so that you may download them for your use. Excellent!! ~From the page: "Sometimes upgrading to a newer version can be a good thing. Other times, your computer may not be compatible with the new version, the new version is bloated, or all the options you liked are no longer available. OldVersion.com has been supplying the online community with old versions of various programs since 2001. The service is utilized by thousands of users every day and has been featured in newspapers and magazines as well as on radio and television. "

We live in a society in which everything is updated so fast and regularly that we lose track of where we've come from. And as a former user of a computer that wasn't supported by the updated versions of applications like Instant Messengers I can totally see the need for an archive of older versions.
