- Superstitions the biggest list ever good luck bad luck black cat knock on wood the list is endless ,the old ones reveil the past ,what were we thinking ! still no new shoes on any table in my house ever! I remember my gran telling me some 45yrs ago how my mum had come home with some new shoes ,(yrs before pop was away with the war effort )and had put the shoes on the kitchen table ,gran aparantly went grey as a goast! and brushed the shoes to the ground !! saying that some-one close would pass ... a telegram come 3 days later .... pop was missing in action and presumed dead ...he never came home !! No shoes on any table in my house!!

- I'd like to think I'm not superstitious, but I've been known to knock on wood, walk around a ladder, and move sideways so a black cat wouldn't cross my path. Just in case....
