That may be the case, but the fun thing is, many of those "kleptocrat" states are sponsored by the US (Egypt, Jordan etc). But the true test for any democracy is if the Arab citizens have the same right as the Jewish citizens.
And that is NOT the case in Israel today.

That in no way relates to any aspect of the discussion of a two state solution in the Levant, and furthermore is only included to add a stroke of malaise to the whole idea of a concessions-based solution to Israel's problems. Mark Steyn, ladies and gentlemen. - What an asshole.
