From the page: "That defense implies, incorrectly, that Mr. McCain was a passive recipient of this bigotâ€s endorsement. In fact, by his own account, Mr. McCain sought out Mr. Hagee, who is perhaps best known for trying to drum up a pre-emptive â€oeholy war” with Iran. (This preacherâ€s rantings may tell us more about Mr. McCainâ€s policy views than Mr. Wrightâ€s tell us about Mr. Obamaâ€s.) Even after Mr. Hageeâ€s Catholic bashing bubbled up in the mainstream media, Mr. McCain still did not reject and denounce him" McCain's Preacher Problem - Rev. Hagee spews anti-Catholic hate speech, blamed hurricane Katrina on the people of New Orleans, and he's a bigot in general, but it doesn't stop McCain from happily accepting his endorsement - why no main stream media attention? I used to have a lot of respect for McCain until he abandoned all of his Independent stances and jumped on the Bush bandwagon. At one time I thought I would vote for McCain if Hillary got the nomination, now, I would have to write-in Obama or vote third-party.

not defending Hagee or McCain here -- but if you haven't read Revelations and you're thinking he's pulling this stuff out of his head -- then you're not doing your homework
