- An interesting idea, though I suspect it doesn't conform to the biological concept from which it pretends to derive - a collection of quotes and observations; people get to vote on what they like, you vote and then move onto the next page, eventually if you're patient enough you find yourself among the dregs. I suppose it's a reflection on the sample of people that are sufficiently motivated or opinionated or whacked enough to make a comment, and a reflection on those who happen across the page and choose to make a judgment. How accurately this describes the opinions of on-line world I couldn't say, I would hope not too seriously on the basis of the top quote, which I am moved against, but equally there are many good and salient expressions of wisdom there too, so I'll vote for those, because if I permitted prejudice and ill will to force reject this broth of ideas then I would by the same logic be inclined to reject the web itself.
