JD001 rated 13 months ago- This is an interesting clip. It portrays the politicization of the U.S. military at the senior rank level. In a democracy, and more importantly, within the military institution of any nation; the armed services must be independent from such flagrant subservience. If the military is not free from such pernicious political influence, its effectiveness and efficiency is diminished to a concerning degree. Such politicization of the military is not in the interests of any nation. For, in the final analysis, the military is the last bulwark of the integrity and security of that nation and its people. My thanks to my good friend Dewey for this clip, right on man...cheers...
