The problem with this type of humor is that, it takes the problem within a defeatist political and moral perspective. Meaning, that which is signified is no laughing matter, and is not really happening the way things are happening to other laughing stock (Paris Hilton, Red Socks, etc), in reality, it is not remotely related to humor. One similar example would be to have a similar bumper sticker during holocaust that reads: "Be nice to NSDAP or we will turn you into soap.". This would in no way be supportive of the Nazi party, however it would also be a twisted fucked up way to glean some humor out of some tragic event that is happening -at the moment-, and can be, should be, must be reversed by means other than bumper sticker humor (and I think you all agree, it would be shitty humor even 60 years after the event). However, America seems to express its discontent only within the privileged and authorized mode of humor, that is brilliant at poking fun at things, but as any poking goes, with a certain distance. And that distance multiplied with time means death and destruction of many, and I'm not sure there will be a bumper sticker fun and humor to be exacted out of all this as long as this is the only way "we" oppose to things.
