Flash animation showing and comparing a VAST range of measures -- from the known Universe to sub-atomic particles! It also contains a lot of info about the items showed.

You've heard of the "cosmic zoom" film short that came out in the 1970s, and other similar "whoah!" animations that take you from the atom to the universe by zooming out or in from a starting point? This is a really cool flash animation that lays it all out from the atomic to the galactic, with a universal measuring stick to guide you. The basic unit of measure is the meter, which can go from 10^(27 billion) light years down to -10 quadrillionths of a meter). The objects displayed on the scale range from the nucleus of atoms to flies and people, to planets, stars, and galaxies. It's really interesting to watch.
