    I may be incorrect, but if I remember correctly geek is a slang of the term 'geeker'. I believe a 'geeker' is someone who digests raw meat. Geekers were often presented as sideshow-freaks in carnivals. Classifying a group of people as such seems like derogatory stereotyping. The article gets a thumbs-up for being funny, but a thumbs-down for continuing usage of a derogatory word derivation.

    Ahh I enjoyed it because it simply made me laugh. I'm with a sexy gamer geek myself ( he doesn't really fall into the stereotype but is still "geeky" ). It's easy though because I'm a big ol' gamer/computer geek myself lol.
