- A bulb that has lasted 81 years and still going? That's frightening, but a testament to awesome people in the past who can outdo our technology without even trying! Apparently, someone tried to unscrew it? As good as their ability to make an immortal light bulb, I highly doubt that some electrician in the past really followed code with that light bulb. I'd be a wee bit afraid of being electrocuted. Also, this is the third longest-going light bulb, where are numbers one and two? How long have they been vampire-sucking the electricity?

- yes, if you never switch your pc off the hard drives will last a lot longer. The biggest problem with the year 2000 switchover were the hard drives that refused working after they had been switched off

Actually, it was 20 years old at the time.
