1957: Somebody writes an incredibly stupid attempt at humor. It is rejected by a publisher. 2009: Who needs talent when you can post any bullshit on the internet?

Hyperbolic all to hell. If this is a serious paper, which, by the author's preface, I'd say it is, then he really needs to relax. He's wearing rose-coloured shades when looking back, then switches to a pair that must have come directly from Orwell's 1984: Doom forecasting and government everywhere. The one about Jimmy getting the belt doesn't even make sense (Why go to foster care if you apparently have an, albeit slutty, mother?) In the end, it just proves the maxim of chain e-mails: If it gets forwarded, it's inane scribblings by someone with nothing better to do.

From the page: "Jeffrey will not be still in class, he disrupts other students. 1957 - Jeffrey sent to the Principalâ€s office and given a good paddling by the Principal. He then returns to class, sits still and does not disrupt class again. 2009 â€" Jeffrey is given huge doses of Ritalin. He becomes a zombie. He is then tested for ADD. The school gets extra money from the state because Jeffrey has a disability."
