Cyborg009 rated 16 months ago- Cool WWI pictures

Herald rated 16 months ago- A very interesting collection of colour photographs from World War I. It's worth waiting seventeen years for the whole page to download. The same collection of pictures, with some additional images and sensible navigation, is available here.

lo-fi-samurai rated 16 months ago- hmmmmm.

ifiknewbetter rated 16 months ago- wow!

MrsA rated 16 months ago- These are colorized photos from WWI.

ZeTron57 rated 16 months ago- This page is by far one of the better stumbles I've come across in sometime. These authentic color photos from WWI are of French soldiers, civilians and towns. For some reason the color makes me feel like I've time traveled, much more than normal B&W photographs do. Once agian these are real and not digitaly colored. From the link below I just learned that color photography WAS around in 1907 (holy shit) but pretty much only to the French and very very expensive... http://www.greatwar.nl/frames/default-color.html
