Regardless of what you use now, try NeoOffice. I bet you'll think it is incredible! I haven't experienced it being slow like other reviewers have, but I have a newer Mac and it is possible that the recent editions of NeoOffice have fixed that.

This is the open source/freeware office suite I use instead of Microsoft Office. I try to keep as few microsoft applications on my Mac as I can. Neooffice has a word processor, spreadsheet, and a presentation module. And it can even read and export Microsoft Office files. And--it is totally free and it doesn't spy on you. :)

Think Microsoft is the center of all evil, or is Microsoft Office just a bit over your budget? Well then say hello to Neolithic Office, NeoOffice for short. Currently still in Beta versions, NeoOffice allows you to run Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Drawing programs and more. If your seeking an alternative to Microsoft Office and can live with a few minor bugs and glitchs NeoOffice is for you.

This free port of OpenOffice.org will run natively on MacOS X. Although still in development, it works OK, with minor glitches.

If you're a Mac OSX user but have yet to purge your system of all Evil Empire (aka Microsoft) software, download this FREE suite of office software and ditch Microsoft for good! :-)
