There are good and bad things with myspace as there are with all sites. I enjoy myspace because I can share my music with people who would never otherwise hear it. It is the largest social networking site on the internet, thereby the best way to reach my market demographic (everyone). People criticize myspace a lot, that's fine. I never said I like everything about myspace. It makes hot chicks who are complete bitches feel like superstars and inflates their already huge egos even more. "Oh, you're so sexy, you're so hot", when someone hears that enough, they begin to get a big head. Just because a guy is on myspace doesn't make him a loser, unless spending time on myspace is the only thing he does or talks about. Just as well, because you're a hot chick on myspace with 10,000 friends, doesn't make you a celebrity or anyone worth talking to. We live in an age where the internet is the new medium of entertainment. It has taken over television, radio, and telephones. Therefore, where advertising that hasn't reached the masses that would usually participate in such avenues is wasted, there must also be advertising on the internet to make up for the difference. Myspace feeds into this mentality, which is something I despise about the site. The advertisers who pay to be advertised on myspace and google though, are of an even lower quality then the name brands that we have grown up with on television. Trying to reach an audience of people intelligent enough to surf the internet with these kinds of scams is just idiotic. The internet is replacing jobs constantly. Where people used to need employees for marketing and other aspects of their business, they now use the internet. One of the number one reasons the economy is where it's at right now is because of the internet as well as computers and technology in general. Machines are replacing positions human beings should work, but companies don't care about people. Profit is god in this world today. Anyway, I feel I've rambled on long enough. This site is honestly so well known, it shouldn't even be featured on StumbeUpon.

I like it for goofing around but some of the users seem troubled and myspace should warn users of these people. over all well done.
