The best site for news on Harry Potter. Such a shame the real thing is all over now though...

Dude, the mugglenet site isn't spamming your inbox. What's the deal? Literature should never go "underground". Anyhow, love the site and the lovable mugglecasters.

I am so fucking sick of Harry Potter. I was hoping that with the release of the last book I wouldn't have to hear about it anymore. But I guess there's still the movies for everyone to fap over. After that I guess I can only PRAY that the more sane members of the community move on, and that the more festering members just take it way underground.

The end of an era. The cover of the UK edition of the 7th and last Harry Potter book. It took the Bunlett 8 and a half hours to read (and she read it as slowly as she could). Now I have to tape her mouth up so that she can't spoil the book for me. The link takes you to Mugglenet. The place to go for Harry potter gossip etc. I will not be visiting it until I have finished the book... The end is nigh. My life for the last ten years has been punctuated by Harry Potter inspired hysteria. Eldest and Bunlett have grown up with these books, waited for the new releases with baited breath, and devoured them within hours of release only to re read them again and again until the copies have literally fallen apart. I have spent a small fortune on multiple copies, and not resented a penny of it. These books have got so many kids in to reading, and though that is probably not the case for my two, they have certainly been absolute favourites. I feel sorry for Littlest. He will not experience the agonising wait until the next instalment, nor feel that he has grown up with the central character. The plot will already be known, and the joy of speculation and expectation lost. I feel that his experience will be that little bit duller for it. Regardless of whatever happens to the central character in the books (and I have not had a peek at the ending) I feel that the world has lost a certain kind of magic.
