A look at major corporate websites in 1996.

I wish I remembered more of the internet's youth, but I guess I didn't spend much time online back then. I wonder how the internet will look in another 10-15 years...

Nice idea to review, but the writer is way to hostile. Back then, style wasn't that important. What mattered was information. The Time Websites cared about their users was the beginning of Web 2.0. That's when they started using appealing designs and integrated user interaction. If you want to know how it felt like to make Webpages back then, start Windows 95 or a very old Linux Disrtibution. You'll know what I mean.

Love the funny websites, hate the guy's hostility towards junk food. But I'm all for throwing Lego guys all over the place, so thumbs up.

The Internet, as it appeared in 1996. Viewers of a weak (code based) stomach are advised to look away now.
