See, here's where the police have it wrong. If the "victims" say there was no crime....what the hell are you doing going forward with criminal proceedings? [Sigh, because I have to....] Obviously this ignores universal, human wrongs....rape, beating, killing. But, you know, we trust the police to carry guns...why is it they're also unable to distinguish between these two situations? I mean, "shoot, or not" is a one out of two as well, right? God, I suppose we're lucky this kid didn't get shot.... Also, who did this harm? Particularly since the company it "harmed" has stated itself to have gotten more publicity from the stunt, than the "crime" was worth? If they had promoted him really quickly, to head PR guy, would you be investigating at all? Stupid, stupid, stupid police. I try to back you when I can, when you are actually maintaining law and order, which is different from the law on the books...and, don't pretend you think it isn't. This. Dumb. Just dumb. Probably not.

It's pathetic when the police can press charges even tho the company that was the victim doesn't want too. Screw you police. Get a grip on life, not on your damn Egos

I guess that the police in Raleigh do not have any harden criminals to deal with or maybe it is just that they need to pad their stats so they break the easy cases first.

That's cool! I agree that if the company doesn't care then the charges should just be dropped
