Tim Russert -- 1950 - 2008
Can't let the passing of Tim Russert go by without saying something. Forget the fact that he was a spectacular newsman and that he could humble the most powerful of politicians with his wickedly insightful questions -- above that he was a real human being who cared about others and who exemplified all that it meant to be a good father . . . and a good son. His peers have trouble talking about him without weeping -- their loss is immense. Our loss is great as well. Tim Russert has died, but along the way he taught us to live. Thank you Tim.

Nothing anyone will say, or write, in the coming days, weeks, and years will ever, EVER, be able to do you justice.
End of discussion.
CrenTIScO rated 13 months agonews - This is such a shock. Tim Russert was one of the people who helped me get interested in politics, and watching him on MSNBC, and listening what he had to say, was very important to me. We'll all miss seeing his face on TV.

- Such a great loss to the world. He was without a doubt an amazing man and outstanding journalist! Intelligent, articulate, engaging, funny, charming, witty and simply a beautiful person. I am not looking forward to watching political news without him.
