burkinaboy discovered 5 months ago- With water becoming increasingly precious in California, a rising number of farmers figure they can make more money by selling their water than by actually growing something.

meatbot rated 5 months ago- Sounds like California is in pretty slim-shape. Farmers selling government subsidized water? Having to cut down on their crops? This sounds like another good example of economic capitalism. Perhaps the farmers could get a sub-prime loan on some new land in order to sell the water alloted for that plot, too? Sounds like a plan, Stan! Doesn't look too good, but perhaps I'm jumping to conclusions.
