The only thing I could find for OS X that would let me play most common video files. That was a while ago though.

Excellent media player / encoder / various it does many things / has a lot of options. Using it for media access of individual video stream frames in research + misc. This and Xine are great.

Used this on Linux but this runs on Windows now? Sweet.
