Going from fat to fellow human being in one Web page.

I usually don't read things like this but it was worth it.

I'm a skinny bitch, but I love the advent of the concept of Big Beautiful Women. As far as I'm concerned, obesity is only a problem when it affects your health, and she says she pays attention to her health so she can live longer and spend time with her loved ones. Also I'm really glad to see that not many people thumbed this down, and that half the ones who did did so because they found the site boring rather than because they found the woman unacceptable. Thanks for giving me hope in humanity, y'all.

What a beautiful woman, to have such love for hersself. What courage it took for her to be able write the words of who she is. And shame on all those who criticize her. I think more people should ignore BMI and look at improving their self esteem. After all a good positive attitude is far healthier than obsessing about weight and looks.

I wish I had the courage she has.

I can't even continue to read the negative comments below. You all are so clueless. This page made me tear up, it was so beautifully done. I am a woman who was a "normal" weight in school but dieted, starved, purged and drugged myself to get there. As an ACTIVE adult, one who does yoga, hiking, walking, swimming, and hitting the gym I am now considered fat... obsese by BMI standards. I can relate to the woman on this page, and thank her for this contribution!

Thank you to the woman who made this page. The comments below me have obviously been made by people who could not be bothered to read her entire story.
