- Joni Mitchel Dismisses the sixties Love generation. Joni believes they won then gave it away to self indulgence. I think they Lost firstly too the backlash and secondly to drugs. But I think that no generation has the right to take there disappointments and defeat out on another. Many just became water bed and disco cynics. Besides being a movement for itself it was a chance for what have been called liberals to recover from labels such as Pinko communists. The post modernists were worse, disappointed that even nothing is not true they became Nihilists.And believe only in what you an get away with it.
