MWSnap is a small yet powerful Windows program for snapping (capturing) images from selected parts of the screen. Current version is capable of capturing the whole desktop, a highlighted window, an active menu, a control, or a fixed or free rectangular part of the screen. MWSnap handles 5 most popular graphics formats and contains several graphical tools: a zoom, a ruler, a color picker and a window spy. It can be also used as a fast picture viewer or converter.

Generally, to capture a Print Screen, one can simply use shift+PrintScreen as a tool to attain what one wants to save. Yet with this tool offers a useful feature of a predefined rectangle area for convenience purposes. It's one convenient tool to have!

or you could use printscreen, alt-printscreen, or Snipping Tool.

Ever just wanted to capture a portion of a dialog box? How about a specific size for your profile icon? Just what I was looking for. It's freeware! Donate if you can.

nice little freeware application - small enough to fit with other stuff on an old tiny pen-drive.I normally just use shift+printScreen, or PSP or the gimp, but this seems to be nice - has the usefull feature of a predefined rectangle area, and the little preview window jumps around the screen to stay away from the mouse pointer.yeah, i like it.
