- Insightful and helpful. The take home point: People don't care about your blog, but they might care about you. Don't promote your blog on SM, promote yourself.

- Couldn't have said it better. Being part of the network is what it's all about. Advice like this has really kept me doing the right thing and finding a lot of really good people. I'm there to socialize not solicit. Worth watching.

- I don't use social networks to promote my blog. I use them to promote myself. When you treat people like human beings, there's some good karma from that. If you treat other people like they're nothing more than opportunities for you to market a website, well, there's karma from that, too, but that karma ain't so good.
