jp-wasnt rated 6 weeks ago- Medicine is no walk in the park. Just ask this doctor here. He'll tell you true horror stories about med school. Question to Self: Still want to go? Self: HELL, yeah!

- huh? half (etc) is gonna be the top 50%. this is shocking somehow? From the page: "Only half of your class will be in the top 50%. You have a 50% chance of being in the top half of your class. Get used to it now."

gopherguts1218 rated 8 weeks ago- ..nice try

marqos rated 2 months ago- Some interesting (sort of) insight/snark into the life of a med student. Everything I've read about the process of becoming a doctor makes me wonder who is served by this nonsensical process. The students? The patients? The existing doctors who already went through it? There's no need for it to be so brutal. None at all.

marginwalker rated 2 months ago- If I had to do medicine all over again, I would. My training was much more humane than this. How can you spend so much time witnessing the suffering of patients, and then decide that your life is terrible because you had to study a lot? From the page: "If I had known what it was going to be like, I would never have done it."

hellasound rated 2 months ago- Reading this list caused an instant vicarious flashback to when my wife was in med school. Ugh. I have never seen someone study so much in all my life. Absolutely brutal.

w4nn4b3 rated 2 months ago- 99 is the same as 64

liquidiridium rated 2 months ago- how true.

ajanelle rated 3 months ago- Wow, this sounds quite familiar and I didn't even do med school... they probably need a #102- if you're not already relatively wealthy, and don't have scholarship you probably shouldn't do it. Sure you CAN go, but there are serious issues involved in taking out that debt and possibly not being able to repay that you can't even imagine before you actually do it. Fortunately for them, job placement for medical students is much much better than for law students.
