    "Skye's founders - Niklas Zennstrom and Janus Friis - have attempted to buy Skype back from Ebay, but their price was well below what Ebay wanted for the unit." Who would be better qualified to give this company new focus and direction than the original founders? If their offering is "well below" what Ebay wants, then who is going to value it more?

    Didn't know SU was owned by Ebay. But both SU and Skype were a bad fit for Ebay so the move to divest is a smarter move for Ebay than their decision to acquire them earlier.
