Cement has a huge embodied energy content making it very bad for the envioroment. I'm actually in the construction industry and I can see quite a few advantages to this product (primarily weight). I'd be concerned about it's behaviour when damp ot wet though.

Eco-friendly cinder blocks... twice the strength and one third the weight of standard cinder blocks... fantastic!
