Conversation with a troll with Marc, a blogging friend of mine (or "blogami", as he calls it; what a nice term). Marc used to have problems with drugs and it looks like the troll wants to pull him back in. From the page: "I think you keep reading me because, despite the viciousness of your remarks, you see hope. Whatever you truly think about my artistic talent or lack thereof, my choice to keep my block clean, or the fact that I used to go to certain bars, you haven't challenged the fact of my clean time. I think that on some level, the part of you not completely submerged and consumed by the crystal is thinking, "if he can do it, so can I." So as unpleasant as it is to be the object of hostility from anyone, it's your hostility. I don't take it in. I can't even say I identify with it, because even in the worst of my using, I was never so angry. But I did feel very very alone, and completely in the grip of my addiction, and really couldn't imagine how I would ever live without the meth. So I'm here to tell you, it can be done, even if I wouldn't lay bets on you doing it. "
