Fidi discovered 12 months ago- Unnecessary, wasteful animal testing performed by the March of Dimes. This is some cruel, sadistic sh*t if you ask me, and the worst part is that this "research" isn't really research at all. A miserable waste of funds. Find out where your donations are going.

- Ya know, most animal-rights stuff really is histrionic crap meant to play on people's base emotions of "oh, don't kill the cute thing!" without offering any solutions outside of "you're a bad person, donate money to us to reduce the level of scorn we have for you."
But this is different. March of Crimes (despite the histrionic name) actually has salient points: what's the scientific purpose of using animals for researching cures for human birth defects, given that the gestation periods for humans and cats (or hamsters, or mice, or rats) are very different? Wouldn't the money spent on animal testing be better spent on stopping smoking during pregnancy or other proven methods of reducing infant mortality?
