Still, past-year participation in organized cheerleading was four and a half times more likely than pastyear use of Ecstasy to have caused a medical crisis necessitating a visit to ER."

- I could never for the life of me fathom that ecstasy and cheerleading were so inexorably intertwined. The question I have is which contributes more to the other: cheerleading to ecstasy use or ecstasy use to cheerleading.

- While ecstasy is a pretty worthless drug, cheerleading is far, far worse.

- really helps demonstrate how irrational prohibition is... society has turned anything drug-related into a social stigma. it's obviously not about the safety issues, although that was the reasoning behind prohibition in the first place.
