- This is a useful dictionary of chinese / english / mandarin pinyin (pinyin is phonetic mandarin using Latin alphabet). Be aware though that when you type in a word you'll get multiple possible translations and it's hard to know which is best - so I use this in addition to my regular dictionary to help get a more nuanced understanding of the Chinese words. They also have sound files of all the words to help with pronounciation.
